An early start to the day, we begin our journey with a scenic helicopter ride towards the Everest Base Camp. Stopping at Lukla for refueling, we set off towards the majestic Himalayas over the lush green valleys of Nepal. A two-stop journey, we first stop at the Himalayan viewpoint of Kalapatthar to enjoy the mesmerizing Himalayan panorama comprising of the Mt. Everest (8,848m), Nuptse (7,861m), Changtse (7,543m), Lhotse (8,516m), Ama Dablam (6,812m) and Cho Oyu (8,201m). Next, our way to the Everest Base Camp where the views of the Khumbu Glacier and Icefall welcome us. Finally, we take off to the skies and head back to the city of Kathmandu. The 30-minute flight is a pleasant one as we look out to the lush green valleys which form a majority of hilly Nepal. Touching down at Pokhara, we make our way to Pavilions Himalayas Gaun Ghar which in addition to being one of the finest hotels around boasts stunning views of the Himalayas. For the rest of the day feel free to head down to the local region enjoying the stunning natural beauty of the city. Overnight at Pavilions Himalayas Gaun Ghar. High above the Kali Gandaki Valley, we reach the Annapurna Base Camp. At an altitude of 4,130m, the foothills of the Annapurna Range boasts stunning views of Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7,937m), and Dhaulagiri (8,167m) amongst others. Enjoying the pleasant Himalayan experience, we once again board the helicopter heading back to the city of Pokhara. We also tour around the city and enjoy the pleasant natural heritages. Heading towards the Mayadevi Temple first, we explore the birthplace of Lord Buddha alongside the place where he took his first steps. The Ashoka Pillar next to the temple is said to be the exact birth spot of Lord Buddha. Taking some time to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere surrounding the temple we set off towards the World Peace Pagoda. Mid-way, we stop at a series of monasteries commissioned by several nations paying homage to Lord Buddha. Overnight at Tiger Palace Resort VIP villa. With a series of activities like Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari, and Boat Ride alongside the Rapti River, we take in the wide species of wildlife of the region.
