Route notes
Your guided Muldai Viewpoint Trek from Pokhara, with Amigo Treks and Expedition, begins after breakfast at your hotel in Pokhara. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Pokhara and together you will drive to Ghandruk, in a private jeep. Ghandruk, the trailhead of this Muldai Viewpoint Trek, is one of the culturally vibrant (steeped in Gurung culture and tradition) villages in the Annapurna region. Located in the foothills of the Annapurna, a drive from Pokhara to Ghandruk takes roughly four hours. Leaving behind the bustling city of Pokhara, you will drive to Nayapul, following the Beni-Baglung Highway. The road to Ghandruk forks north the highway at Nayapul. Now following the Ghandruk road, you will continue your journey to Ghandruk. You will also stop shortly at Birethanti for ACAP formalities. The road onward is mostly unpaved, narrow and winds through the villages and forested hills. The drive thus can be bumpy at sections, but the entire journey is very scenic as you can witness rural landscapes and glimpses of local rural life. About 4 hours after leaving Pokhara, you will reach Ghandruk. In Ghanruk you will have your lunch, while the porter prepares to carry your luggage. The trek to Tadapani starts at Ghandruk. It’s a pleasant 4-hour walk through the forest of Rhododendron mostly on stone steps that also offers you occasional views of the Annapurna Mountains. The trail might seem difficult at first, however, once you reach Bhaisikharka the trail becomes relatively easier to tread. Thus, making the last 1.5 hours easier. In Tadapani, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Meals: Lunch and Dinner
