Tilman Pass to Langtang Valley Trekking provides a completely different experience while retaining the beauty of Langtang. Much closer to the Himalayas, the Tilman pass connects the eastern glacial lakes of Panch Pokhari to the Langtang Valley, providing a remarkable perspective on central Nepal's raw beauty. The journey takes us through the Langtang National Park, which is located in the shadow of the majestic Langtang Range.
Langtang Valley is well-known for its easy trails and picturesque natural beauty. The valley, in addition to the vibrant Tibetan and Tamang hamlets, provides a relaxing experience for trekkers of all ages. Similarly, the Panch Pokhari Lake System on the journey provides a surreal view of the Langtang and Dorje Lakpa ranges. The Tilman Pass (5320m) is the highest point on the trip and is located on a relatively unknown trekking trail in the Langtang region.
Amigo Treks & Expedition has been running various trips throughout Nepal with great experience and expertise. We provide the best services possible, including private transportation, superior lodging, and group discounts.
Our adventure begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Chautara. The trek begins with visits to Sano Okhareni and Kami Kharka on our way to Pauwa Bas. We make our way to Nosyampati through the lush green forests. After arriving at the holy pilgrimage site of Panch Pokhari, we take a day off to acclimate before continuing to the Intermediary Camp. We hike to Tin Pokhari before heading to High South Camp. The following day, you will cross the Tilman Pass (5320m), which provides breathtaking views of the Langtang and Gaurishankar ranges. We take a day off at Kyanjin Gompa after dropping down from the High North camp.
Following the banks of the Langtang River, the final leg of our journey takes us to Ghodatabela before arriving in Sybrubensi.
If you want to attempt the Tilman Pass Trek, make sure to thoroughly check the weather conditions. Trekking in September, October, and November are ideal, as long as you avoid the rainy months of June and July.
