Kathmandu and Pokhara valley sightseeing tour

Overview

Trip overview

A quick summary of the route, support level, and the main things travelers should know before booking.

The Kathmandu and Pokhara Valley are the two very  beautiful valleys in Nepal. They are so beautiful that words cannot describe the true beauty of these valleys. The Kathmandu Valley is a cultural hub; rich in culture, art and architecture. 7 UNESCO declared World Heritage Sites stand tall and proud adding value to the Valley. Whereas, Pokhara Valley, a picturesque valley blessed with the stark beauty of nature, is a mecca for adventure enthusiasts. Both of these valleys are an equally important tourist drawcard, as one protects the cultural assets, while the other protects the natural assets of Nepal.

The Kathmandu and Pokhara Valley Sightseeing Tour  is one of the perfect combination tour in Nepal. This tour fulfills the need of both adventure and cultural traveler. As per the standard itinerary designed by Amigo Treks and Expedition, the tour starts with a visit to UNESCO World Heritage Sites like the temple of Pashupatinath, Stupa of Swayambhunath and Boudhanath and the Kathmandu Durbar Square in Kathmandu. It further continues with a sunrise viewing trip to Sarangkot, Pokhara City tour (Phewa Lake, Seti River Gorge, Devi’s Fall, Bindabasini, and Bahari temple), and ends with a sunrise viewing trip to Nagarkot  and an excursion of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. This tour includes most of the must-visit parts of Nepal.

Moreover, our 7-day Kathmandu and Pokhara Valley Sightseeing Tour package assures the benefits of bed and breakfast in Kathmandu and Pokhara, all ground transportation, professional and licensed guide for city tours and a welcome and farewell dinner. Nevertheless, this package is a fully customizable package and can be customized to your needs and budget. The company also guarantees 100% departure, flat rate and special discount on each customized package.

This tour in Nepal is suitable for people under all age groups. It is perfect for the family vacation. Moreover, unlike other tours and treks in Nepal, this tour can be planned any time of the year. However, if you are looking for longer tours then  we suggest you to go for 10-day Nepal Introductory Tour or even 15-day Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet Tour. Enjoy the trip!

Everest Base Camp Trek

WOW, Where do I start? I have wanted to do this trek for about 30 years, so when we decided to book we compared many trekking companies to decide who to go with and #AmigoTrekking scored the best and they certainly lived up to expectations. We had an amazing journey far better than our wildest dreams. There were a few reasons why our trip was so good and here's why. Prior to the Journey: AMIGO Trekking were so professional prior to the journey, answering my numerous emails in the leadup in regards to gear requirements, weight of rental gear and logistics. We communicated with Niti regularly and she always got back to me within 24 hours. This is very important when trying to plan such a trip. Amigo and Niti were also the only company that effortlessly accommodated our desire to extend our stay in Tengboche to attend the festival at the monastery. (November) Once we arrived:  We were greeted at the airport by a very friendly and professional mountain guide 'Hari Adhikari' who immediately helped us navigate our exit from the airport making a very chaotic situation easy. We felt like royalty. Little did we know at that point just how much this one man would shape our trek into the amazing journey it became. For the next 14 days Hari was by our side perfectly pacesetting our speed for success. He steered us to quality tea houses with the best food for breaks, negotiated the best rooms for us every night and even showed us the best spots for pictures along the way. His experience and cheery disposition was very visible with every interaction he had. He seemed to be best friends with every guide, porter and tea house owner we passed. Hence we nicknamed him 'Happy Hari'. No task was too big or small and he made a point of letting us know where he'd be every night (his room number, tent or dining room) in case we needed him. He was not only the main reason for our successful completion of the Trek, but added many enjoyable moments for us as well. If you are lucky enough to have Hari as your guide, make sure you take a pack of UNO cards with you. Hari loves the game! Along with Hari we were also lucky to have on our team an amazing young man Chandra (Sandra) who was our super human porter. He too always wore a smile, even when lugging our bags over rock after rock! Thanks mate, we don't know how you do it. If we can impart one thing we've learned that will make your Trek in Nepal memorable. It's go with Amigo and insist on Hari and Chandra. You won't regret it! Thanks guys, we are forever grateful.
