Ghorepani-Poon Hill with Ghandruk Trek is one of the best short treks in the Annapurna region in Nepal that offers trekkers a perfect blend of nature and culture. Poon Hill, the major attraction of this trek takes trekkers to the altitude of 3,193 meters (also the highest you will go on this trek), to present them a breathtaking panorama of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna range. These ranges also include the 7th (Dhaulagiri 8,167m) and the 10th (Annapurna I 8,091m) highest mountains in the world. The other mountains that make these ranges are Tukuche, Thapa Peak, Nilgiri-South, Central and North, Tilicho Peak, Patal Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Baraha Shikhar Chuli, Singu Chuli, Tharpu Chuli, Tare Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Gandarwa Chuli, Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal, Annapurna IV, Annapurna II as well as Lamjung Himal, which you can see as one panorama from the Poon Hill. Apart from the Poon Hill, Tadapani is another best spot on this trail to view wonderful mountain views. Nevertheless, this trek also introduces you to the culture, tradition, hospitality, farming practices and lifestyle of Gurung and Magar people (ethnic groups in Nepal) inhabiting the villages en route.
This 9 days Ghorepani-Ghandruk trip with Amigo Treks and Expedition stars with your arrival in Kathmandu and ends with your departure from Kathmandu.
